Eines meiner allerliebsten Jazzalben! Ein französisches Duo mit Klavier und Bass. Diese Platte habe ich in den späten 70ern, noch zu Schulzeiten, bei einem Freund kennengelernt, der schon etwas eher als ich beim Thema Jazz angelangt war und mich mit dieser und ein paar anderen Platten auf den Geschmack gebracht hat. "Rue de Lourmel" kam in Arnies Keller damals sogar sehr oft auf den Plattenteller. Allerdings hat es bis in die 00er Jahre gedauert, bis ich selber mal irgendwo eine Wiederveröffentlichung auf CD gefunden habe. Am letzten Samstag kam mir doch tatsächlich eine Originalausgabe aus Frankreich auf 2nd-Hand-Vinyl unter die Finger. Mit knapp 15€ vielleicht kein Fall für die Grabbelkiste, aber trotzdem ein guter Fang. Und endlich kann ich diese wunderbare Musik auch bei mir zuhause so hören, wie es sein sollte, auf Vinyl. Da muss ich doch glatt ein paar andere Jazzschätze aus dieser Zeit auflegen, zum Beispiel "Deer Wan" von Kenny Wheeler oder "Solstice" von Ralph Towner. Oder ... da fällt mir sicher noch so einiges ein! (2023-07-18)
